Welcome to Waterside! If you are looking for a sound base to tour the Highlands, or just to "to get away from it all", Waterside Inverness offers a warm welcome and Highland hospitality for the duration of your stay. The hotel offers comfortable accommodation combined with a friendly service, typical of the scottish highlands. Many rooms have been recently refurbished.

Waterside is a family run hotel, prefectly located on the banks of the River Ness and walking distance from the centre of Inverness. An excellent base for your stay in the highlands. Ideally situated for daily trips.

* Waterside Bar and Restaurant offers fresh food served all day from 7am to 10pm daily, freshly ground Brodies Coffee, a special collection of both International and Domestic Beers and Ales supplied by Belhaven Brewery, a fantastic range of Wine by the glass, an open log fire throughout the winter months and a south facing front garden area for alfresco dining and drinking during the Summer.

* Contemporary Bar and Restaurant have been created to provide a comfortable all day retreat within a unique and inspiring atmosphere. All this with arguably the best view available in Inverness from every table.

* Waterside offers comfortable and spacious Events and conference facilities.
ROOM AMENITIES

* Refurbishment is being carried out on the 30 bedrooms to ensure the quality of accommodation is to the standard people associate with a 3 star hotel.

* The Waterside will remain open with work carried out in various stages through the winter months to ensure as little disruption as possible to guests. All rooms are en-suite.

Good hotel, nice location
We stayed at The Waterside for one night on our Scotland tour. It is located right on the River Ness and has a patio area with seating overlooking the river.Breakfast (included in the price) was delicious, with plenty of choices. We were within walking distance of a main street with a variety of restaurants and other shops

The location of the hotel is perfect, overlooking the River Ness, two minutes walk from the city centre and a fantastic selection of pubs and restaurants. The staff are friendly and approchable.

Very young staff who were all friendly and prepared to take the initiative when talking to guests which was good without their being pushy. centrally located and good parking and the menu read very nicely although we were only able to have breakfast because of prior commitments. Will certainly consider using the hotel again if we are back in Inverness. Also very good value for money

We have stayed at the Waterside before, in a waterfront room, which we preferred to the room we had this time, but our room was clean and nicely decorated. we would be happy to stay here again the next time we visit Inverness. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the bar and eating both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. The food was good and the views attractive.

the bed was very comfortable and we had a perfect nights sleep which left us refreshed and ready for our onward journey. The restaurant and staff were superb, the breakfast excellent, so much so we returned for lunch before leaving Inverness
